A majority of the church’s pledging units currently give at 5% of their annual adjusted income. To calculate this amount, subtract your take-home income from any health and educational expenses then multiply accordingly (see chart for guidance).
If you’re not able to give at 5% consider becoming a strategic donor by giving 3% this year, then increase to 4% next year, and 5% by 2012. Also, some members may feel more comfortable contributing periodic gifts, rather than making a pledge based on income; if that is the case, we encourage you to list your intentions here.
